Adelaide cops winter full frontal

The City of Churches has enjoyed marvelous winter warmth in recent days, but a flurry of fronts will whisk the warmth away.
Today has been Adelaide's warmest July day in 14 years, reaching 23 degrees. This is an astounding eight degrees above average and a lovely way to round out a four day spell above 18 degrees.
However, this spring-like weather won't last.
A pair of cold fronts will cross South Australia on Friday, bringing frequent showers, as well as strong and biting winds. All coastal waters will see strong or gale force winds tomorrow, with a Severe Weather Warning likely to affect some southern districts, so keep up to date with the warnings on Weatherzone.
On Saturday, A high pressure ridge will briefly take hold, meaning that winds will be lighter and there should only be the odd light shower near the coast, allowing the SES and power networks to clean up.
On Sunday and late Monday another two strong cold fronts will surge across the state, bringing further powerful winds and frequent showers. Once again there is the risk of flash flooding and damaging winds.
Thankfully, from Tuesday less intense weather will prevail as a high takes over most of SA for a number of days.
