Chilly start to the work week expected for the southwest

With a cold front expected to make landfall over the southwestern parts of Western Australia on Sunday afternoon, it will likely be difficult to get up for work on Monday.
Sunday looks to be a dreary sort of day, when a cold front and strong winds ahead of the system will likely lead to showers throughout the day over the southwestern parts of Australia.
Although showers are set to clear for Perth, Bunbury, Albany, and more inland locations such as Kalgoorlie on Monday, clear morning skies on the back of cooling from rainfall will make for a very cold morning across the southwest.
Early morning minimum temperatures below 10 degrees are likely, as low as six degrees in places.
Looking beyond the expected cold, a high pressure system moving in behind the front will help to warm things up for the remainder of next week, and keep minimum temperatures near average.
However, don't put away the winter tracksuit pants just yet. A series of fronts is set to pummel the southwest from late next weekend, likely dropping temperature significantly.
