It will be a warm Wednesday for those living along the eastern seaboard as the spring temperature see-saw takes a swing.
Sydney's cool weekend will feel like a distant memory as the mercury heads for a top of 29 degrees on Wednesday afternoon. This makes it around 10 degrees warmer than both Saturday and Sunday.
A cool change will reach Sydney on Thursday morning, pegging the temperature back to 24 degrees. Friday will be even cooler, reaching a below-average high of 21 degrees.
Further north, Brisbane is forecast to reach 30 degrees for only the second time since April on Wednesday and a notch higher at 31 degrees on Thursday.
The change will weaken before arriving in Brisbane on Friday, allowing the end of the week to still hit the high twenties in the Queensland capital.
