Sun going walkabout in southern Australia

Sunny breaks will be few and far between across parts of South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania and inland New South Wales, the sun effectively taking leave in some areas until late in the week.
For some, the lack of sunshine won't make a lot of difference during the day, most places warming to near average in the gloom. But at night the cloud will have its biggest effect, keeping some of the daytime locked in and reducing the frost risk.
The cloudiest areas are expected to be western Tasmania, western and central Victoria and eastern SA. Parts of these areas may not see any sunshine at all during Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. There is potential for Monday to Wednesday to see as little as 30 minutes of sunshine in Victoria's Lake Eildon area, as little as two hours in Tasmania's Strathgordon area. Even the Adelaide area is in for a gloomy three days with potentially as little as seven hours of sunshine all up.
This cloud has been driven in by recent strong cold fronts which have delivered some moisture, resulting in widespread showers. The cloud is now being held down to the ground by firm high pressure which looks like being very slow-moving for the next few days.
Cloud should largely clear during Thursday and Friday once the high shifts to the east and wind turns drier northerly.
