Late-season warmth will cause very high fire danger ratings in parts of SA on Tuesday.
Warm northerly winds ahead of an approaching front will push temperatures well above average across the state. Adelaide's forecast top of 32 degrees is 10 degrees warmer than usual for April.
The Country Fire Service has forecast very high fire danger ratings in eight out of the state's 15 districts on Tuesday, including the Mount Lofty Ranges.
Adelaide's warmest April day on record at the West Terrace weather station was 36.3 degrees in 2018. This won't be challenged on Tuesday.
