Australia Satellite Notes

Cloud stretching from the north to the southeast with a deep low and associated troughs is generating showers and storms, some severe, over parts of northern WA, SA, NT, QLD, NSW and VIC, and showers in TAS. Low cloud in onshore winds is bringing the odd shower to southern WA.

Spring rain for the inland southeast

10:21 AEDT After a 2019 that couldn’t seem to rain even when the cloud was there, yet another rainfall event has affected the southern inland, bringing the heaviest October rain in a decade to parts of the Riverina and northeast Victoria.
