Fire Ban Advice for Northern Territory

Issued at 4:50 am CST on Saturday 17 October 2015.

The Chief Fire Control Officer, Bushfires NT and the Director, NT Fire and
Rescue Service have declared a FIRE BAN DAY for Saturday 17 October. Fire Bans
are valid from midnight to midnight.
No Person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the
portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas. This includes the
DARWIN, BATCHELOR and ADELAIDE RIVER Emergency Response Areas, and the
Litchfield and Coomalie Shires.
