Final Flood Warning For The King River

FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT DOCKER RD BRIDGE
In the 24 hours to 3 pm Tuesday, no significant rainfall was recorded across the King River catchment, and no significant rainfall is forecast over the next few days.

King River:
Flooding is no longer expected along the King River at Docker Rd Bridge.
The King River at Docker Rd Bridge peaked below the minor flood level (3.70 metres) Tuesday afternoon and is currently at 2.51 metres and falling.
The King River at Docker Rd Bridge is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.70 metres) for the next few days.

Flood Safety Advice:
SES advises that all community members should:
Never walk, ride or drive through floodwater,
Never allow children to play in floodwater,
Stay away from waterways and stormwater drains during and after heavy rain,
Keep well clear of fallen power lines
Be aware that in fire affected areas, rainfall run-off into waterways may contain debris such as ash, soil, trees and rocks, and heavy rainfall increases the potential for landslides and debris across roads.}
