A trough over central Queensland and eastern New South Wales extends into the southern Tasman Sea, and is producing convective cloud in it's vicinity. A low pressure system positioned in southwestern Victoria extends a cold front into southeastern South Australia. This system is driving convective cloud over much of western Victoria, southern New South Wales and southeastern South Australia. A cold front is approaching Tasmania, directing thick cloud over the state. A high pressure system west of Perth is pushing low level cloud along the country's southwestern coastlines. High cloud extends over the Top End from convection in the Arafura Sea. A high pressure system off southwestern Western Australia drives low level cloud over the southern seaboard Western Australia and Southern Australia. The remainder of the country is mostly cloud free.
