A high pressure system situated over is New South Wales, with patchy cloud visible over parts of southern New South Wales, southeastern South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania. A thick deck of mid to upper level cloud obscures central western corner of Western Australia, along with streaks of the same cloud further east in to central parts of South Australia. This is due to a prominent upper level trough along with a an approaching cold frontto the south west Western Australia. The remainder of the country is mostly cloud free.
