A trough extends through the eastern Northern Territory into central Queensland bringing thick mid level cloud with associated rain to the region. An inland trough is present through Western Australia bringing patches of mid level cloud over inland parts of the state, with convective activity supported by an upper feature. A high pressure system in the Bight pushes low-level cloud onto the coast of South Australia and Victoria. A trough over Tasmania is bringing showers over the state. The rest of the country remains mostly cloud free.
