A cold front and low system moving over the Tasman Sea, is bringing about low to mid level cloud over southeastern Australia. An upper trough and jet stream are responsible for an atmospheric river of high level cloud streaming over much of Queensland. Moist southeasterly trade flow is generating patchy low cloud over the North Tropical Coast of Queensland. Upper level cloud is present through southwest Western Australia, associated with an upper level trough and ridge present in the Indian Ocean. The remainder of the country is cloud free.
