FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT TUNCURRY
Rainfall totals of up to 196mm have been recorded across the Wallis Lake catchment in the 48 hours to 9:00 am Saturday. Showers are forecast over the coming days, but no further significant rainfall totals are expected.
Flooding is no longer expected in the Wallis Lake at Tuncurry.

The Wallis Lake at Tuncurry (Point Road) is expected to remain below the minor flood level (0.90 m).

* Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
* Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
* Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
* Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
