Final Flood Warning For The Maroochy And Mooloolah Rivers And Coochin Creek

MINOR FLOODING IS NO LONGER EXPECTED AT PALMVIEW AND PICNIC POINT
River and creek levels are easing across the catchments.
No further significant rainfall totals have been recorded since 6:00 pm Wednesday. No significant rainfall totals are expected for the next few days.

Maroochy River:
River levels are easing across the Maroochy River catchment.
The Maroochy River at Dunethin Rock is currently at 0.21 metres and falling.
The Maroochy River at Dunethin Rock will remain below the minor flood level (2.90 m) during Thursday.

The Maroochy River at Picnic Point is currently at 0.46 metres and steady.
The Maroochy River at Picnic Point will remain below the minor flood level (1.30 m) during Thursday.

Mooloolah River:
River levels are generally peaked and easing across the catchment.
The Mooloolah River at Palmview is currently at 3.34 m and steady.
The Mooloolah River at Palmview is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.50 m) during Thursday.

Coochin Creek:
Creek levels peaked and fell below minor during Wednesday.

Flooded streets and footy ovals as slow-moving storm drenches SA's west coast

ABC image 01:07 AEDT South Australia's Eyre Peninsula and west coast received a drenching overnight, enough for rain tanks to overflow.  Wirrulla mechanic Eric Greatbatch said the area outside his business "looked like a giant pond of water" this morning after receiving more than 100 millimetres of rain overnight.
