Isolated coastal showers in eastern districts, tending scattered about the Sunshine Coast and the northeast tropical coast north of Ingham. Showers may tend widespread at times about the Cassowary Coast and the Daintree. Isolated showers near the southern Gulf coast west of Burketown. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Possible morning fog inland in southeast Queensland. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds, turning moderate northwesterly in the far southwest of the state. Maximum temperatures above average in the southwest and the southern and central interior, near average elsewhere.
