Coastal Waters Wind Warning
For the Southwest Gulf of Carpentaria

Synoptic situation
A weakening ridge of high pressure across southern Australia is maintaining
fresh southeast winds over coastal waters.

Winds over the southwest Gulf of Carpentaria are no longer expected to exceed 25
knots.

No further warnings will be issued.

Please be aware
Wind gusts can be a further 40 percent stronger than the averages given here,
and maximum waves may be up to twice the height.
