We're heading into a few days of spring thunderstorms, possible anywhere east of a trough over NSW and QLD. Meanwhile there is a new cold outbreak shock for the southeast later in the weekend, before the next widespread rain system (for the interior, QLD and northern NSW).

The timing of a series of cold fronts should give us a fairly nice day on Saturday.
