Tropical Cyclone Dianne was short lived, crossing the northwest WA coast early on Saturday, but the rainfall remains will have an impact on northern Australia prompting the next wave of rain to move through. Rainfall potential over the next week includes large parts of Queensland with another 25 to 150 mm.

In the past week, large parts of Queensland have recorded more than 200mm of rain, and locally more than 400mm. Forecasts show that the weather system still has a lot to deliver, with more than 200mm still to come.
