Cool and showery start to the week for Sydney

Graeme Brittain, Sunday September 23, 2018 - 14:29 AEST

Winds will turn onshore behind a cold front and direct moisture over Sydney over the next few days.

Based on latest models, most of the shower activity over Sydney looks to occur on Monday.

Additionally, blustery winds will generally gust at around 30-50km/h, which will make it feel a few degrees colder than actual.

The mercury will climb into the mid-to-high 20's by Thursday and Friday, as warmer air moves in ahead of a low pressure trough.

Temperatures are expected to take another tumble next weekend.
