NO FURTHER FLOODING EXPECTED AT WILLARE
Rainfall totals up to 15 mm have been recorded in the Fitzroy River catchment in the 24 hours to 9:00 am Saturday. Isolated showers are forecast over the next few days, however this is not expected to lead to any renewed flooding.

Fitzroy River from Noonkanbah to Willare:
River levels are easing and no further flooding is expected in the Fitzroy River from Noonkanbah to Willare.
The Fitzroy River at Willare is currently at 7.87 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (8.00 m).
The Fitzroy River at Willare is expected to remain below the minor flood level (8.00 m).

DFES advises people and communities to be aware that flooding is possible and be prepared to relocate equipment and livestock. Watch water levels. Travellers need to be aware that road conditions may be adversely affected and travel plans may need to be reconsidered. Do not drive into water of unknown depth and velocity.}
