Queensland rain clearing - up next is the East Coast Low for NSW with torrential rain, damaging winds, coastal effects
The NSW East Coast Low develops later on Monday, with huge rainfalls and coastal effects likely. The biggest totals are projected to be from southern Sydney to Batemans Bay with flooding likely. Some of the rain even spreads into southeast Victoria and northeast Tasmania. Coastal effects (near and just south of the low) are likely to include damaging winds, hazardous surf and erosion.
