A front crossed the southwest on Sunday, and is set to be followed by another one on Monday. According to BoM this second one is stronger - typically seen around five times per year, and our strongest so far this year.

There is a little rain for the southeast from Saturday to Monday, ahead of the next bigger system: in the west on Sunday/Monday, then in the southeast from Tuesday to Friday. Then there are good signs for rain in week 2 (beginning July 14th), as the Indian Ocean continues to shift, heading towards a Negative IOD.

We enter a quiet period, with light falls (borderline cold enough for snow) on Sunday into Monday. Then when the cold air arrives later on Tuesday, we are set for a good snow system, heaviest next Thursday at this stage.

The next big system is hitting the west, with a little rain to follow for the southeast beginning on Saturday. Then a stronger system arrives in the southeast from next Tuesday.
