Partly cloudy north of Mount Isa to Richmond and west of Georgetown, with isolated to scattered showers elsewhere. Showers tending widespread at times along the South East coastal fringe, Central Coast and between Ingham and Innisfail. Widespread showers in the Channel Country east of Birdsville and south of Windorah with the chance of a thunderstorm. Possible early morning fog inland of the east coast south of Cairns. Light to moderate northeast to southeasterly winds, turning north to northwesterly in the far southwest of the state. Minimum temperatures near average in the far west and Gulf Country, tending well above average in the southwest and southern interior and above average elsewhere. Maximum temperatures near average about the Gulf Country and Far North, generally above average elsewhere.
