Mostly sunny south of Renner Springs. A slight to medium chance of showers and thunderstorms elsewhere, increasing to a high chance over the Top End and in the northern Carpentaria District. Possible heavy rainfall and damaging wind gusts in the western Top End and in the Carpentaria and northern Gregory Districts. Very hot in the Tanami, Lasseter, Simpson, southern Barkly and southern Gregory Districts. Moderate northeast to northwesterly winds over the Top End, tending northeast to southeasterly elsewhere. Winds fresh and gusty south of Barrow Creek during the afternoon and early evening.
