Isolated to scattered showers about the east coast from Innisfail to the Sunshine Coast. Scattered showers and thunderstorms elsewhere, tending widespread in the south. Severe thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are possible south of Mount Isa to the Sunshine Coast, with isolated intense falls about the Windorah area. Light to moderate northwest to southwesterly winds, tending northeast to southeasterly along the east coast and in southeastern Queensland. Light west to northwesterly winds over the northern Peninsula.
