Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms north of Charleville. Showers tending widespread at times about the northern Peninsula along with the northwest and central interior. Severe thunderstorms with locally heavy falls possible with in the North West and central interior west of Longreach to Julia Creek. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Isolated morning fog in eastern districts south of Gladstone. Light to moderate northwest to northeasterly winds across southern Queensland shifting south to westerly over the interior during the afternoon and evening. Light to moderate northeast to southeasterly winds elsewhere. Maximum temperatures above or well above average in the southeast and southern interior, below average in the northern and central interior, and near average elsewhere.
