Areas of rain in central Queensland as well as southeastern Queensland, with heavy to locally intense falls and damaging wind gusts possible north of the Sunshine Coast. Light to moderate east to southeasterly winds about southern Queensland, turning southerly about western Queensland and north to northwesterly elsewhere, fresh at times near the coast.
