Scattered showers and thunderstorms across most of the state, tending isolated in the far southwest. Showers tending widespread about inland central and in southeastern Queensland and to areas of rain at times. Severe thunderstorms with heavy rainfall broadly possible across interior Queensland south of Charters Towers. Intense rainfall conducive to flash flooding is possible in the Southern Interior and southeast, from Windorah to Brisbane. Light to moderate southeast to easterly winds in southern Queensland, northwest to northeasterly elsewhere. Maximum temperatures below average in the western and central interior, tending well below average about southeastern Queensland. Maximum temperatures above average about the rest of the east coast, near average elsewhere.
