Scattered showers and thunderstorms developing from the west from the late morning, extending to central districts in the late afternoon and evening. Severe thunderstorms bringing damaging wind gusts and localised heavy rainfall are possible over western parts of the state. Isolated morning fog about parts of Gippsland. A hot day with moderate to fresh north to northwesterly winds ahead of a gusty west to southwesterly cool change reaching the west during the afternoon and central districts in the evening.
