The chance of thunderstorms about the Hunter and Mid North Coast during the morning and early afternoon. Dry and mostly sunny elsewhere. Patchy morning fog in the southeast. Daytime temperatures generally above average, tending near or a little below average in the central east and northeast. East to southeasterly winds in the north, fresh along the far north coastal fringe. Light and variable winds in the south, becoming north to northeasterly along the southern half of the coast during the day.
