Isolated showers and thunderstorms in northern and western Queensland, tending scattered north of Longreach to St. Lawrence. Locally heavy rainfall possible across a broad band from Mackay to the southern Gulf coast. Isolated showers about eastern and interior districts south of Emerald. Patchy morning fog possible about the southeast interior. Light to moderate northwest to northeasterly winds, tending easterly about central Queensland. Maximum temperatures near average for much of the state, tending below average in the central and northern interior and above average in the far southeastern interior.
