Final Flood Warning For The Bogan River
Issued at 10:13 AM EST on Monday 20 May 2024
Flood Warning Number: 4

FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT MUDALL
Rainfall totals up to around 100 mm were observed across the region during the weekend of 11-12 May. This caused minor flooding last Thursday at Dandaloo, however river levels downstream along the Bogan River are expected to remain below minor flood levels.
No significant rainfall is forecast for this week.

Bogan River to Nyngan:
No further flooding is expected in the Bogan River.
The Bogan River at Dandaloo is currently at 2.52 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (4.10 m).

The Bogan River at Mudall is currently at 0.92 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (2.70 m).
Further river level rises are likely early this week, however the Bogan River at Mudall is expected to remain below the minor flood level.

Flood Safety Advice:
In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
* Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
* Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
* Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
* Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
