Flood Warning For The Lower Macintyre And Lower Weir Rivers

MODERATE FLOODING CONTINUES ALONG THE MACINTYRE RIVER DOWNSTREAM OF GOONDIWINDI
No significant rainfall has been recorded across the Macintyre River catchment over the last few days. Showers are forecast for the next few days with no significant rainfall
A minor to moderate flood warning is current for the Barwon River in NSW.

Macintyre River downstream of Holdfast:
Moderate flooding is easing at Terrewah along the Macintyre River downstream of Goondiwindi, where the main peak is passing Boomi Offtake.
Weir River downstream of Giddi Giddi South:
Minor flooding is slowly rising as upstream floodwaters approach Jericho in the next few days.
