MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING ALONG THE LANGLO AND WARD RIVERS
AREAS OF MODERATE FLOODING BETWEEN THE 27 MILE GARDEN AND BAKERS BEND AND ALSO ALONG THE LOWER WARREGO ALONG WALLEN
MAJOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT BAKERS BEND FRIDAY OVERNIGHT
MODERATE FLOODING EASING AT CHARLEVILLE
MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WYANDRA AND CUNNAMULLA BRIDGE DURING SATURDAY
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT ROCKY AND MODERATE POSSIBLE EARLY NEXT WEEK
Moderate to locally heavy rainfall has been observed across the Warrego River catchment since Monday. This rainfall has resulted in river and creek level rises across the catchment.
Further areas of widespread rainfall with locally heavy totals are forecast during Friday and into Saturday, which is likely to result in further river and creek level rises along the Warrego River.
The situation is being closely monitored and forecasts will be updated as required.

Warrego River to Charleville:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Warrego River to Charleville.
The Warrego River at Charleville is currently at 5.12 metres and falling, above the moderate flood level (5.00 m).
The Warrego River at Charleville is likely to fall below the moderate flood level (5.00 m) overnight Friday into Saturday.

Langlo and Ward Rivers:
Cancellation
River level rises are occurring along the Langlo River, where major flooding is occurring between Warilda and Binnowee.
Warrego River downstream of Charleville:
Major flooding may occur along the Warrego River downstream of Charleville.
The Warrego River at Bakers Bend is currently at 7.51 metres and rising, above the moderate flood level (7.00 m).
The Warrego River at Bakers Bend may reach the major flood level (9.00 m) overnight Friday into Saturday. Further river level rises are possible.

The Warrego River at Wyandra is currently at 5.68 metres and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Warrego River at Wyandra is likely to exceed the minor flood level (6.00 m) Friday evening. The river level may reach the moderate flood level (8.00 m) during Saturday. Further river level rises are possible.

No current river level observations are available for the Warrego River at Cunnamulla Bridge, however based on the nearby auto gauge the river level is expected to be above the minor flood level and rising.
The Warrego River at Cunnamulla Bridge may reach the moderate flood level (7.00 m) during Sunday. Further river level rises are possible.

No current river level observations are available for the Warrego River at Rocky, however based on upstream gauge the river level is expected to be above the minor flood level and rising.
The Warrego River at Rocky may reach the moderate flood level (4.00 m) early next week . Further river level rises are possible.
