A cold front extending from a low in the Great Bight is moving through the southeast of the continent generating widespread areas of low to middle level cloud. The same system is extending a warm front over Tasmania and bringing thick mid level cloud to the state. Scattered low level cloud is visible about the southwestern coast of Western Australia as a cold front approaches. The rest of the country is mostly cloud free.
