Australia Weather

A thick mid- to upper-level cloudband extends from central Queensland, over eastern New South Wales, much of Victoria and Tasmania. Moist onshore flow from the Coral Sea is generating scattered low level cloud along parts of Queensland's coast. The southwestern corner of the country is covered in a field of patchy low level cloud, the result of a cold airmass approaching from the Southern Ocean. The rest of the country is mostly cloud free.
