A cold front is moving through southern parts of Western Australia, bringing a thick deck of low to mid level cloud with showers within. Patchy low level cloud flows onto the coast behind the front. A trough along the New South Wales coast is bringing patches of low to mid level cloud with embedded showers and thunderstorms. Some patches of low level cloud can be also seen over the slopes of New South Wales. Onshore flow is pushing some thick low level cloud onto the western side of Tasmania. Some mid level cloud can be seen over the Cape York Peninsula. The rest of the country is mostly cloud free.
