Scattered showers developing in the southwest, spreading across the south and far west during the day with the chance of small hail. Thunderstorms and small hail possible in the southwest in the afternoon and evening. A dusting of snow possible above 700 metres on the southern ranges and above 800 metres on the central ranges. Dry and partly cloudy elsewhere. Areas of morning frost across the ranges and inland. Morning fog patches on the ranges. Daytime temperatures below average. Northwest to southwesterly winds, tending southerly along the coast. Fresh winds on the ranges and near the coast at times.
