Widespread rain, showers and possible thunderstorms across the northeastern and central eastern areas, and the adjacent western slopes, with moderate falls about the northern and central parts of the coast and adjacent ranges. Locally heavy falls possible along the north coast and northern slopes with thunderstorms. Scattered showers elsewhere in the eastern half. Dry and partly cloudy elsewhere. Patchy morning frost in the south. Areas of morning fog about the northern inland. Daytime temperatures below average along the coast and in the north, tending above average for the southern inland. East to northeasterly winds in the south and east, fresh at times near the coast and on the southern ranges. Light and variable winds in the northwest.
