Mostly sunny in southeastern Queensland. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms elsewhere, widespread at times from Ingham to Mackay. Possible moderate to locally heavy rainfall between Cooktown to St. Lawrence. Thunderstorms possibly severe with heavy rainfall in the Channel Country. Possible morning fog inland in the southeast. Light to moderate northeast to southeasterly winds, fresh at times about the Central Coast. Maximum temperatures below average in the far northwest, above average in the southeastern interior, near average elsewhere.
