Cloud bubbling over northern WA and the interior in a trough is causing isolated storms and showers. Low cloud in a region of low pressure is causing the odd shower over the west coast. Clear elsewhere under high pressure.

Wirrulla mechanic Eric Greatbatch said the area outside his business "looked like a giant pond of water" this morning after receiving more than 100 millimetres of rain overnight.
