Final Flood Warning For The Burrum River

RIVER LEVELS ARE EASING AT HOWARD FOLLOWING A PEAK JUST BELOW THE MINOR FLOOD LEVEL EARLY SATURDAY AFTERNOON
River levels are easing across the Burrum catchment.
No significant rainfall is expected over the next few days.

Burrum and Cherwell Rivers:
No further flooding is expected in the Burrum River.
The Burrum River at Howard peaked just below the minor flood level (6.00 m) early Saturday afternoon and is currently at 5.41 metres and falling.
The river level will continue to fall overnight Saturday into Sunday and remain below the minor flood level.
