Thunderstorm activity is producing areas of convective cloud around the Gulf Of Carpentaria, inland Queensland, the Kimberley, the west coast of Western Australia and The Top End. A cold front has passed over Tasmania, southern Victoria, and southern coastal districts of New South Wales, bringing thick mid to low level cloud. A high pressure system in the bight is pushing low level cloud into coastal districts in South Australia. The rest of the country is mostly cloud free.
