A high pressure system extends across the country and is bringing low to mid level cloud across the southern portion of the nation. Cloudy conditions persist over Tasmania in the stream flow to the south of the high. Large bands of mid to high level cloud are associated with frontal systems in the Tasman sea and the Southern Ocean south west of Western Australia. Patchy low to mid level cloud has developed due to onshore flow in the north of Queensland and Northern Territory. The rest of the country is mostly cloud free.
