Thunderstorm activity is producing areas of deep convective cloud over the North of Queensland and the Top End. A high pressure ridge over the western Tasman Sea is driving low cloud onto the northern New South Wales coast and the coast of Queensland. Low level cloud is currently flowing over southern Western Australia as a high pressure system builds in the west. The remainder of the continent is mostly cloud free.
