Widespread rain across much of the state with moderate totals across the northern and central areas, clearing in the far west. Locally heavy falls possible with severe thunderstorms along the north coast. Thunderstorms also possible about the Upper Central West. East to northeasterly winds across the eastern and central western areas, northern inland, and eastern Riverina, tending south to southwesterly in the far west.
