Showers tending isolated elsewhere east of Rockhampton to Stanthorpe. Mostly sunny elsewhere, with isolated showers about the exposed east coast, most likely about the Cassowary Coast and Daintree. Fresh and gusty southeasterly winds about the east coast, light to moderate east to southeasterly winds elsewhere. Maximum temperatures below average from the northwest of the state to South East Queensland, near average elsewhere.
