Showers tending widespread at times with areas of rain and heavy falls possible in a band stretching from the Gulf Country and the North West into central and southern Queensland. Light to moderate, and fresh at times, eastern to southeastern winds in southern and western Queensland, light to moderate northwest to northeastern winds elsewhere. Maximum temperatures below average about northwestern, central and southeastern Queensland, near average elsewhere.
