Isolated showers about eastern Queensland, the Central Highlands, upper Burdekin and Cape York Peninsula. Showers tending scattered about South East Queensland, Central Coast and the northeast tropical coast north of Townsville. Showers may tend widespread at times about the North Tropical Coast between Cardwell and Cairns and about the Daintree. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Fresh and gusty southeasterly winds about the east coast, light to moderate east to southeasterly winds elsewhere. Temperatures near average in the east, slightly below average inland.
