Low cloud is being driven onshore across much of the southern seaboard and Tasmania. This is due to the combination of a weak trough positioned over the Bight extending into southern Victoria, and a high pressure ridge that is also building in the Bight. Onshore flow is also driving scattered convective cloud over the Queensland and New South Wales coastline. A trough is driving convection and thunderstorm activity can be seen over western parts of the Northern Territory, northern and central Western Australia. The rest of the country is mostly cloud free.
