A broad cloudband is present over the southeast of the country as surface troughs stretch from northern Western Australia through South Australia, Northern Territory, New South Wales and Victoria to produce expansive mid-to-high cloud over southeastern parts of the mainland. A cold front and is moving through the Tasman Sea, bringing low to mid level cloud to the eastern Tasmania. The rest of the country is mostly cloud free.
