A trough lies across the Tasman Sea with an embedded low. This trough is driving low to mid-level cloud onto the northeastern New South Wales and the southeastern Queensland coastlines. An extensive cloud band associated with a surface trough, a cold front and an upper disturbance is covering South Australia and southeastern Australia. A developing cold front is moving through the bight bringing low to mid-level cloud to southwestern Western Australia. A high in the Indian Ocean is pushing low to mid-level cloud onto the western coasts of Western Australia. The rest of the country is mostly cloud free.
