Possible severe thunderstorms with large hail, damaging wind gusts, and heavy rainfall in central and eastern Queensland between Proserpine and and Maryborough. Light to moderate west to southwesterly winds across central and southern Queensland, with afternoon northeasterly sea breezes along the coast. Light to moderate south to southeasterly winds in the far west, with northwest to northeasterly winds elsewhere. Maximum temperatures above average in the far west, central and eastern districts, near average elsewhere. Heatwave conditions in the north and far north.
